I have been living in Australia for 16 years. I lived in Rockhampton in Central Queensland for 12 years and now residing in Brisbane for over 4 years. While in Rockhampton, I volunteered for Central Queensland Multicultural Association for several years and was elected as its Vice- President for one year. I was also the President of Rockhampton Tamil Sangam for over 4 years. I work for a Finance Company and volunteer during my spare time. I was selected to volunteer for the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in the Transport & Logistics division and had the opportunity to perform along with Guy Sebastian in the closing ceremony as part of the games shapers team. I also volunteer for OzHarvest, a charity organisation that rescues food, prepares meals and serves the needy that would otherwise go as waste to landfills.

About Varnam:
I have been volunteering for Varnam Cultural Society for the last 4 years and have come to embrace this non-profit organization's vision and mission. Varnam has always been a non-partisan and non-political group supporting multi-culturalism and encouraging local talents in Arts and Entertainment. Varnam has also been an active participant in community programs like blood donation, helping struggling students during covid-19, and several other activities. I have the pleasure of working with a multi-talented team from various walks of life under the able leadership of Rajarajan. I'd like to contribute to society through this great organization and serve the multi-cultural interests of our beautiful Brisbane.
